The Fukuda Denshi Interface Solution, powered by iSirona, simplifies patient data collection by delivering data from Fukuda Denshi monitors, telemetry devices and central stations to hospital information systems via an HL7 message. Through the use of iSirona's Smart Adapter's, patient data can be integrated from stand-alone monitors using the hospitals Ethernet or WiFi network. The SmartAdapter queues data in the event of a network outage and when device is out of range. Once the network is available, the SmartAdapter automatically uploads queued data.
The Fukuda Denshi Interface Solution utilizes positive patient identification (PPID) to create an accurate link between patient and device, ensuring data is documented to the correct patient. Specifically designed to support the needs of clinicians, the solution provides the ability to authenticate data at the point-of-care prior and the ability to embed the PPID workflow so it appears as another tab within the clinical application.
Through the use of AlertManager, device alarms are routed to the hospitals nurse call system for distribution directly to pagers, wireless telephones and PDA devices. These alarms can be mapped to a descriptive message and may include everything from non-critical advisory. |
